Production Operative

Salary: £8.90 per hour

Location: Ryton upon Dunsmore

We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Production Operative to join our high performing team, responsible for ensuring that Millboards manufacturing process is adhered to, and maintain the required output and quality levels. Reporting directly to the Team Leader, the Production Operative is required to adhere to health and safety standards and promote effective team work.   • Operating Millboards manufacturing process to a high standard of quality
  • Adhering to targets whilst on production line
  • Defect/quality checks and reporting
  • Adhering to best practice in accordance with health and safety and quality procedures
  • A flexible approach to working hours including working overtime/shift work and attending courses or training that are done outside of normal working hours
  • And any other duties as required to be carried out by the management

Person Specification:

The competencies listed are appropriate to the Production Operative and are an illustration of the qualities that the Company requires.

  • Previous experience within a production / manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience as a machine operative advantageous
  • Excellent time keeping, attendance and work ethic
  • Ability to work at a fast pace and sustain accuracy
  • Must have experience of manual handling including heavy lifting
  • Applicants must have a full UK driving licence
