Millboard has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Key Distributor Sales Coordinator. The candidate will be required to work closely with the Key Distributor Account Manager and internal Customer Support function providing support to our Key Distributors and Re-sellers, building strong relationships at branch level with branch managers and Millboard Champions, whilst also becoming a key contact for our Business Development Managers and supporting them with general day to day activities.

Responsibilities 

  • Building strong, frequent and value added relationships with all branch managers and Millboard Champions by creating a positive call agenda
  • Pro-actively contacting 300+ Premier/Key Distributor branches to discuss sales, quotes and opportunities, to win business for Millboard
  • Proactively chase ordering opportunities, concentrating on new branches, self-generating quotes and sending out sample requests
  • Ensuring the distributor has the agreed level of stock and support by reviewing the stock value report and GAP analysis by region for opportunities
  • Pro-actively contact Premier/Key Distributor ensuring correct POS, literature and samples are in place
  • Follow up general BDM visits/activities to ensure all requirements and activities are completed
  • Support the general admin requirement, QBR Presentations, KPI reporting & sales quotations
  • To target and arrange Premier/Key Distributor training as appropriate
  • To positively promote the Approved Installer programme, gaining new prospects for internal/BDM follow up
  • In conjunction with the Key Account Manager and BDM’s target/prospect new potential distributors
  • All other duties as assigned 

Person Specification

  • Previous experience in a sales related roles, demonstrating significant experience in relationship building
  • High energy, driven individual that can utilise their own initiative and personality to build/maintain strong, long lasting relationships
  • Sales target and customer centric driven
  • Self-motivated and proactive in reaching a resolution for customers
  • Able to manage workload with a certain degree of autonomy, and able to work proactively on a number of key tasks including creation of a Key Distributor contact matrix/associated maintenance, and creation of a list of prospects in conjunction with the Key Account Manager/BDM to actively target
  • Creates a positive call agenda which adds value and improves/builds strong business relationships
  • Open and honest attitude to all, upholding the Company ethos
